Your Responsibilities

About your Account

You may have additional expenses to pay prior to your leaving the hospital such as a gap payment, or prosthetic gaps balance for self-funded patients.

Our staff will perform a check with your health fund to ascertain the amount that you will need to pay and inform you of this cost as soon as possible after your admission.

For elective surgery this check is performed prior to admission and you will be informed of the cost pre admission.

As your account is your financial responsibility we encourage you to enquire about your level of health cover and possible co-payments with your health fund or specialists prior to admission.
